"Copy to Library" = export & import book?
Hi,
I'm using 2 libraries, one for initial import of the book and "fixing" metadata. The other is the "real" "clean" library I use to connect with devices etc. At the moment, I do export books into a folder and then import into "real" library in order to make sure all metadata is actually written into the ebook files itself. Is "copy to library" doing the same? Or is there another workflow that is more efficient than ex- and then import? |

copy to library does not touch ebook files. You want to embed metadata into ebook files, simply use the embed metadata tool (Preferences->Toolbars and add it to your main toolbar)
