USB Identification for kobo devices
Hi there,
We're developing a backup and installer for Quill OS that allows users to back up their entire SD card without needing to dismantle their device. Could someone help us by providing USB identification information? If you're using Linux, you can gather this info with lsusb -v, and on Windows, any hardware information tool will work. We're particularly interested in the serial number string, as it will help us identify the device effortlessly. Thanks! I know here is no one really, I'm talking to ghost but elinkser! Hello! |

The easiest way to get this info is to browse the calibre source for the Kobo Touch driver

It can also be accessed from the .kobo/version file when the device is in file transfer mode connected to a pc. we just need numbers for devices which we don't have (and ones we do so we can sort out a pattern).
