Importing custom fonts doesn't work in Marvin 3.0

I successfully imported a custom font into Marvin 3 and it's listed under the custom heading with the name of the imported font. So far so good, right? But when I select the font...the paragraphs of the text disappear and I end up seeing only one sentence out of the entire book appearing in the center of the iPhone. Selecting one of the pre-installed fonts in the menu under the Aa option fixes the issue.

You can import custom fonts...but forget about being able to use them. This needs a clear fix.

I've imported a couple of fonts and had no problem.

@Spfamy1 Maybe the font file is damaged. Could you try with a different font file set?

Let's be clear on this...when you mean "font set"...it can't be ONE font? And by font set are you telling me it has to be a complete folder with the marvinz extension when importing? Because it's possible the reason my font didn't work is because I used only ONE font in the font family but I'm not seeing how that's relevant...because when importing the font Marvin 3 is supposed to recognize the font and use that template for all the instances like bold, italic, underline, etc.

Wrong. Marvin is not supposed to take your regular font and simulate bold and italics. Marvin is supposed to use the correct font for bold and italic. So yes, you do need to have all 4 fonts if you want regular, italic, bold, and bold italic.

Try it with a proper set of fonts and then report back how it works. Chances are it will work and what we have here is user error.
