docx to epub; one-character pages missing

Hi,

I encountered the following problem when converting from docx to epub: The resulting epub does not contain pages consisted of only one character in docx (in my case pages with one-digit name of part of the book).
Workaround attempts via adding hard spaces were not successful. So far the only way (in docx) seems to be to add some "real" text to the problematic page.
Or maybe am I doing wrong something?

(Calibre 4.15; test docx + epub attached)

This comes from the splitter code, use the option in the epub output section of the conversion dialog to not split on page breaks and you will be fine. The splitter code assumes post splitting that a page with only a single character is a mistake.

If I understand correctly, the code change will cause one-character pages not to be dropped. Even if the "do not split at page breaks" option is not checked. Thanks in advance.
