Amazon rejecting emailed New Yorker epub
This is a problem that occurred a year ago and was somehow fixed after an update to the recipe. Since then I stopped emailing news feeds as epub and reverted to sending everything as mobi. But Amazon is finally cutting off the mobi format, so I'm back to downloading and emailing only in the epub format.
Everything works fine EXCEPT THE NEW YORKER. Even after repeated attempts to email the downloaded magazine as an epub, Amazon continues to "fail" to deliver it because of a "problem" with the document. There has got to be something wrong with the way this particular recipe downloads and formats this particular magazine. IF I CONVERT THE ORIGINAL DOWNLOADED EPUB to AZW3 and then use Kindle Unpack to EXTRACT the kf8 to EPUB, that EPUB emails and is delivered by Amazon with no problem. But emailing the originally created epub fails. I've heard the response that "only Amazon can tell me what was wrong" with the original epub. Not likely to get much response from Amazon on that. It would be more helpful for someone here who knows what they're doing (I certainly don't) to figure out what is wrong with the way this magazine is being compiled. All other recipes create epubs that email with no problem. What is it about this one that causes it to be rejected? |

I have no idea what "reducing support" means, does amazon actually reject MOBI sent my email?
I assume its the usual amazon boil the frog tactics to lock you into their walled garden. Sigh, tech companies are such a blight on human civilization. |
