A friend of mine uses 'chillax' all the time. Chill and relax combined. I hate it!

Chillax sounds like a millennial portmanteau. Here's a site that explores the millennial fascination with them. Especially cronuts. Ever had one? Don't think I have.

I've had cronuts at a couple of places around here. The 49th Parallel Coffee had the best of the ones I've tried. It was positively sweetilicious (a word that one of my nieces is very fond of).

Sounds tasty. Now that the skies are filling up again, airportation is leaving a lot of contrails.
Nobody said you couldn't make them up, eh. |

Posting in the Portmanteaux forum without a portmanteaux is a sign of poor netiquette.
And why move the discussion from the Give Us A Sign! forum? Last edited by DNSB; 08-10-2022 at 11:57 AM. |

Because it is a portmanteau of angle-zigzag-arrow.

I kind of like the way a glyph became a portmanteau, though. Good one PoP. Now I'm trying to make a word to describe the process. Wracking my brain... Nothing's coming to me.

I am dumbfounded that you would choose that word!

I like my son's goldendoodle. Though many of those portmanteau dog names are enough to make me a member of the bitterati.
